Judge Greg Wilhelm

Vetted and Appointed by Gov. Abbott

Early Voting - February 17-27, 2026
Election Day - March 3, 2026

Delivering Justice. Protecting Our Community.
The Right Judge For Ellis County.

As the only candidate currently on the bench of the 504th District Court and with over 25 years of legal experience, I am uniquely qualified to continue serving as your judge.

I believe in Constitutional integrity and that justice must be applied faithfully and fairly. That means holding criminals accountable and protecting the rights of victims.

That commitment is why Governor Greg Abbott, a former State Trial Judge, Texas Supreme Court Justice, and Texas Attorney General, vetted and appointed me to the 504th District Court. My experience, along with my conservative, constitutional approach to the law, makes me the right choice for Governor Abbott and the people of Ellis County.

I am honored to be serving as your judge, and I ask for your vote to confirm the Governor’s Choice.

Why I’m Running

I Believe in Bringing Experience, Integrity, and Efficiency to Our Courts

With nearly 25 years of dedicated legal service in Ellis County, I have a proven track record of representing clients in multiple areas of the law. My distinctive blend of community involvement and proactive leadership has deepened my connection with our citizens and business community, reflecting my commitment and reputation as a trusted and committed advocate. Equipped with extensive legal experience as an attorney and former trial court judge, I am uniquely prepared with the knowledge, experience, and insight to effectively serve our county as Judge of the 504th District Court.

I am steadfast in my commitment to upholding the original intent of the Constitution. I possess a deep respect for its fundamental principles, principles that will justly address Ellis County’s ever-changing legal needs. My dedication to the Constitution will not waver.

I am uniquely equipped to tackle the pressing challenges in our courts, such as complex drug-related offenses and intricate family law cases. My strategic vision centers on a commitment to justice for victims, community safety, and holding offenders accountable for their crimes.

Appointed By Gov Abbott

Serving Ellis County.

I am truly honored to receive the appointment from Governor Abbott and to be serving as Judge of the 504th Judicial District Court in Ellis County. While it is true that an appointment is not an election, it does provide an essential distinction between my opponent and me: it is a vetted choice.

Governor Abbott, a man with deep judicial experience, has already done the heavy lifting of confirming my qualifications.

Governor Abbott is the second-longest-serving Governor in our great state’s history. He is also a former State Trial Judge, Texas Supreme Court Justice, and Texas Attorney General. He knows what it takes to serve in this position and has placed his unwavering faith in me with my appointment as Judge of the 504th District Court.

As you head to the polls in February, I ask that you confirm our Governor’s choice and continue Delivering Justice and Protecting Our Community. Vote to Keep Judge Greg Wilhelm in the 504th District Court.
